If you are a long-time fan of racing in New Jersey, you almost certainly recognize the name Conner. Jerry Conner was one of the drivers to beat in the Street Stock division, at Wall Stadium, for years. He was even part of a team with Tom Mauser, with almost indentically painted number 45's, as Tom and Jerry Racing.
His two sons, Pride and Shannon, went on to become racers themselves. Shannon stayed active in the sport, longer, going on to win the Race of Champions for Street Stocks, and compete in the D/A Modifieds, and NASCAR Modifieds at Flemington Speedway.
Now the next generation of Conner's is competing, also with the number 45, and he may just be the best of them all. The 10 year old has already put together an impressive array of wins, and top performances, in many of the top races in and around North Carolina.
You really have to check out the website of Kodie Conner to see all he has accomplished in such a short time.
The youngster is also looking for sponsorship to help him continue on towards a career that takes him to NASCAR one day. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in helping this future star follow his dream you can contact him through his website.
