With Hurricane Irene bearing down on us, much of the weekend's race action seems to be in doubt. However, it should still be nice on Friday, and lucky for all of us that is the night of the "Cruise Night" at Wall Stadium.
The car show takes place in the paved pit area of the track, beginning at 5pm. Admission is free to both participants, and spectators. Those displaying cars even get the chance to cruise the high-banked oval on a slow pace lap.
If you have never been, this is a nice relaxed, and inexpensive evening. Sadly, with the weather forecast, it may be your only chance to be outside all weekend.
