Ryan Truex, in his second start for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Schick Xtreme3 Toyota number 20, had a solid qualifying effort. The young New Jersey driver will start from the 10th position, sharing the fifth row with Sprint Cup driver Jamie McMurray. Brad Keselowski continued to be hot, as he took the pole.
Truex is driving for the same number 20 team that practically dominated the race here at Richmond in the Spring, with Denny Hamlin driving. Hamlin led 199 of the 251 laps. Not much pressure for the young driver, yeah right!
I'm sure Ryan will do his home state and fans proud.
