A new crew chief didn't help the qualifying efforts of Martin Truex Jr.'s number 56 NAPA Toyota at Pocono. The New Jersey driver will start from the 31st position on Sunday.
The pole was won by Kurt Busch for the second week in a row. He will be joined by Paul Menard, who backed up his fast practice speeds.
Truex Jr. has to be really disappointed by the team's performance as he was outqualified by drivers such as Joe Nemechek, Landon Cassil, and David Gilliland. His Michael Waltrip Racing team has it's work cut out for themselves if they hope to bring back a top finish.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start 21st.
