When the checkered flag falls at Infineon later today, that certainly won't mark the end of Nascar on television for the evening. Sure there will be your usual follow-up shows on the Speed Channel like Nascar Victory Lane, and Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain, however tonight there is even more.
Tonight at 10PM on A&E, four Nascar drivers will play themselves in an episode about a fictional crewmember being murdered. The drivers who will appear are Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Joey Logano, and Brian Vickers. The scenes were all shot at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
For those of you who have never seen the show, it is based on a Chicago detective who moves to South Florida to semi-retire, and ends up working cases there. I have to admit I am a regular viewer of the show, and it is quite good, even when there aren't any Nascar drivers on it.
So if you haven't quite gotten enough Nascar by 10PM tonight, or just want to check out a pretty good show that happens to have some Nascar drivers tune in to A&E later.
