Help Further a Young Racer's Dream

Shannon Conner was a very talented racecar driver from New Jersey, especially in the paved era of Flemington Speedway. He was a track champion, and winner of the Street Stock division Race of Champions, quite a fete for a New Jersey driver, back then.
When Flemington Speedway announced it's plans to close, Shannon packed up and headed South to North Carolina. While he never managed to land his dream job of driving a competitive car in one of NASCAR's top series, he did go on to become a fabricator for, and member of, several championship winning teams in the sport.
Shannon, and his family, are now looking to further that same racing dream for their son Kodie. The young man is certainly talented, as he managed 2 wins, and several top-5's, at Charlotte Motor Speedway so far this summer. In fact, his father feels he has much more talent than he ever had, especially at his age.
What makes Kodie's performance even more impressive is that most times he finds himself racing against much more well financed teams. Many of the teams have some relationship to at least one professional NASCAR team, even Sprint Cup teams.
Shannon is now looking for individuals or companies interested in sponsoring Kodie for the upcoming Nationals at Kentucky Motor Speedway in August. Anyone who is interested should contact them at racecityraceway@aol.com.
No donation is too small, and wouldn't it feel good to give towards helping a youngster achieve their dream, especially when it is racing related. Let's help Kodie Conner go to Kentucky, and possibly see that number 45 in victory lane again, just like his dad did years ago at Flemington.
