Pennsylvania Underdog Wins Race of Champions in Oswego

While he is a very talented driver, certainly there are not many who would of picked a certain driver from Bath, Pennsylvania to win, perhaps, the biggest Modified race of the year. Yet not only did he win it, but he did it in somewhat dominant fashion.
Zane Zeiner, captured the 61st running of the Race of Champions at Oswego Speedway. He led a total of 42 laps of the 200 lap event, picking up a good portion of the lap money in addition to the $10,000 purse. He also had to hold off the pre-race favorite, Tony Hirschman, over the closing laps to secure the win.
The rest of the top five consisted of Erick Rudolph, Lee Shrewood, and Jimmy Zacharias.
  Congratulations Zane !
