Wall Stadium Cancels Late Models This Saturday

Wall Stadium had plans to bring it's fans a different type of race car than the one's normally in competition on Saturday nights, for the second week in a row. Last week the Jersey Shore speedway brought the Tobias SpeesdSTR's to the high-banked oval for the first time. The track management had planned to bring Late Models to the speedway this Saturday.
However, due to a lack of cars, the decision was made to cancel their appearance. This was probably the right choice over presenting their fans a feature consisting of only a few cars, and not good racing.
The track still has plenty of action scheduled, especially for those who are fans of small cars. The American Three Quarter Midgets will be on hand to run their "Tony Romit Memorial" race. They will be joined by the Microstocks which will also be running a memorial race in honor of Jack Bellinato.
While the Wall Modifieds will be off for the night, the Blewett Recycling Sportsman cars, Inex Legend Cars, and United Crane Factory Stocks, which will run twin 25-lap features, are all on the schedule.
The Garden State VintageStock Car Club will also be on hand for what the speedway is calling "Pirate Night", with scavenger hunts planned throughout the night for the kids.
